Who is Neem Karoli Baba: 

Neem Karoli Baba or Neeb Karori Baba was born in the UP state of India, in a wealthy Brahmin household. At the age of 11, he got married but left everything behind including his matrimonial life to serve as a Saint. Baba was also known as Maharaj-ji by his true disciples.

The two main Ashrams that were built during his lifetime were Kainchi Dham and the other was in Vrindavan. In Kainchi Dham, he spent his last 10 years constantly sermonising on the Hindu culture and the significance of devotion. And then, he lost his last breath in Vrindavan on 11 September 1973. 

How to reach Kainchi Dham: 

Anyone can easily arrive at the destination by taking a car or van on rent or using any local transport from Nainital accordingly.

By Air: 

The Airport of Pantnagar is closest to the village, approximately at a distance of 70-71 km. From the exit of the airport, local transportation is easily available to Kainchi Dham. 

By Rail: 

The nearest railway depot of Kathgodam is only 37 km away from the town. And generally, it will take around 1.5 to 2 hours to reach, depending on the vehicle you choose.  

By Road: 

Even by the road, there are facilities of local buses, Van, and Taxis that are functional to Kainchi Dham from the major cities of Uttarakhand.

Hanuman Vatika Temple Neem Karoli Baba: 

Adjacent to the main temple of Kainchi Dham, the Hanuman Vatika is located. The Baba was considered an incarnation of Lord Hanuman, so the Tuesday Visit to the Dham is believed to be highly sacred and admired.
