Day 1: Beginning Journey From Kolkata to Haridwar +

Distance- 1,623.1 km Duration- 29 hours

“Shubho Teerthojatra!!!” Embarking your journey from Kolkata to the land of God, Haridwar.
Board on a flight from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Airport or travel by train from Kolkata Chitpur Railway Station. Our driver will wait to pick you up from your arrival location at Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun or Haridwar Railway Station, respectively. He will drop you off at the hotel in Haridwar where you can enjoy a meal and sleep peacefully for the Chota Char Dham Yatra, starting the following day.

Day 2: Haridwar to Barkot +

Distance- 198 km Duration- 4-5 hours

On Day 2, your first stopover for the First Dham is Barkot, a small town near the banks of Yamuna. Our operator from Travel Acharya will pick you up from the hotel after your morning meal. On your route to Barkot, you can see the beautiful flowing Yamuna River surrounded by the mountains of Bandarpoonch. You will be dropped at your hotel in Barkot while seeing scenic views. Eat your meal and sleep well to head for Yamunotri Dham the following day.

Day 3: Travelling from Barkot to Yamunotri and then Barkot Again +

Distance- 46.6 km+6 km(trek) Duration- 2 hours

Set out in the morning and have your breakfast. On day 3 of the tour, we will go to the darshan of Yamunotri Dham. You will leave Barkot with the driver on the scenic route. You will be dropped at trek bases of Yamunotri such as Jankichatti or Phoolchatti. When you arrive at Jankichatti you have to trek 6 km to the Yamunotri town (3293 meters). Travellers who can trek because of health constraints can opt for a doli or pony/horse ride at their own expense.
On reaching Yamunotri Dham, you will see the Jamnabai Kund where you must take a sacred dip for blessings. Visit Devi Yamuna Temple, the daughter of Surya Dev, for darshan. Also, see the sacred River Yamuna. and visit Surya Kund where you can cook raw rice in a potli(cloth bag) or potato as a Prasad. You can trek or take a helicopter ride to Kharsali(5 km) which has the Shani Mandir(Brother of Yamuna) and is the winter seat of Devi Yamuna.
When you have done darshan, return to Jankichatti in the similar way you came here. The operator will take you from Jankichattiand drive you back to the hotel in Barkot. Have some food and rest for the next day's excursion.

Day 4: Heading from Barkot to the Uttarkashi +

Distance- 120 km Duration- 4 hours

On Day 4, we will move to the next stopover, Uttarkashi for a second pilgrimage visit. Grab a bite as we have to head for a 4-hour journey from the hotel in Barkot. The operator will drive you through the scenic lofty peaks and alpine forests. On reaching Uttarkashi you can go to your respective rooms and take some refreshments. Explore the town, and enjoy Garhwali culture and traditions. Take a sound sleep for the next Dham visit.

Day 5: Uttarkashi to Gangotri and Return to Uttarkashi +

Distance- 100 km Duration- 3-4 hours

On the fifth day of your Chota Char Dham Yatra, you will visit Gangotri Dham from Uttarkashi.
We will depart from the hotel, post-breakfast, to seek the darshan of Maa Ganga. The road journey to Gangotri will be 4 hours.
Upon arrival at the Gangotri Dham, you can seek the darshan of River Bhagirathi, the source of the Ganges. Pay obeisance at the Maa Ganga Temple and indulge in the spiritual essence of Ganga Aarti. If you can trek 17 km, must see Gaumukh Glacier. It is the originating point of the River Ganga. Enjoy exploring local culture, street food, stalls and nearby attractions of Gangotri.
After darshan, our driver will take you back to Uttarkashi. Have your meal and a sound sleep in the hotel.

Day 6: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi +

Distance- 199.2 km Duration- 8 hours

In the morning, when you are done with breakfast you will be heading for Guptkashi, the next stop of the third pilgrimage site. The driver will pick you up from the hotel in Uttarkashi and drive you to Guptkashi.
The scenic road trip and picturesque landscape are a bonus to your tour. After an 8-hour drive, you will be taken to the Guptkashi accommodation where you can have dinner and a quality sleep for the next Dham.

Day 7: Going from Guptkashi to Kedarnath +

Distance- 30 km+16 km(trek) Duration- 3 hours

On day 7 of the journey, we will visit Kedarnath Dham as a part of the Chota Char Dham Yatra to seek the darshan of Lord Shiva, the destroyer. Our driver will drop you off at Gaurikund after relishing your food.
Gaurikund is the sacred place of Mata Parvati. You can take a dip in the sacred water of the kund. This is the base for the Kedarnath 16 km trek. Devotees with physical incapabilities can take a doli or horse/pony ride at their own cost.
Helicopter services are available in Guptkashi. You will be driven to a helipad which will directly take you to the Kedarnath Dham. After the darshan of Lord Mahadev, you can return to the helipad.
On reaching Kedarnath Dham, pay obeisance and perform puja of Lord Shiva and the sacred Shivling. For VIP darshan, special charges are applicable. Nearby stay options are available near the temple. Enjoy your stay and experience the divine energies of Har Har Mahadev.

Day 8: Traversing Back from Kedarnath Dham to Guptkashi +

Distance- 30 km+16 km(trek) Duration- 3 hours

Beginning your morning darshan with Kedarnath Shivling and puja. The aarti of Lord Shiva will give you spiritual fulfilment. After the darshan is completed, you can trek back to the Gaurikund trail or take services of dolis or pony rides.
When you reach Gaurikund, the driver will drive you back to the hotel. Devotees who came by helicopter must head back to the helipad for Guptkashi.

Day 9: Guptkashi to Joshimath +

Distance- 161 km Duration- 4-5 hours

Take your morning fuel, the driver will pick you up from Guptkashi to Joshimath, the gateway to the Badrinath Dham. It will be the last pilgrimage visit in the Chota Char Dham Yatra.
Crossing through the snowy peaks and alpine meadows, you can enjoy the amazing scenic views. When you reach Joshimath, check in your room, dine your meal and rest for the journey to be continued tomorrow.

Day 10: Joshimath to Badrinath Dham and Returning Joshimath +

Distance- 40 km Duration- 1-2 hours

On the 10th day of Yatra, we will visit the last pilgrimage of Lord Badrinath. After breakfast, we will go from Joshimath to Badrinath, a straight drive.
When you arrive at Badrinath Dham, you can see Lord Badrinath Temple. According to ritual, take a sacred bath in Tapt Kund, a sacred natural hot spring. Seek the darshan of the Lord Vishnu in the Badrinath Temple. For special puja, give some Dakshina to the temple purohit.
Must see Surya Kund, Badri Van, Saraswati River, etc, if you have time to explore. Also, involved in cultural and religious activities.
We will depart from the Badrinath Dham after the spiritual morning aarti and darshan of Lord Badrinath. The driver will drop you at Joshimath at your hotel. Savour your dinner and have a sound sleep, as we have ended with the darshan of Chota Char Dham Yatra.

Day 11: Joshimath to Haridwar +

Distance- 268 km Duration- 7-8 hours

Here we are rushing to the end of the Chota Char Dham Tour. The driver will pick you up from Joshimath and drop you off at Haridwar. You will be taken through the picturesque route. On your route, you will cross the holy towns of Rudraprayag and Devprayag. After your arrival at Haridwar to your hotel you will depart for Kolkata, the following day after taking a rest.

Day 12: Departure from Haridwar to Kolkata +

Final hours for your Chota Char Dham Yatra and you will be heading home to Kolkata. After breakfast, you will depart for Kolkata, either at Jolly Grant Airport (40 km) or Haridwar Railway Station(3.5 km). You will be dropped off at Delhi Airport if you have a flight from here.   • By Air: If you want to avoid the long journey and save your time, it is suggested to make your journey by flight. Take flight from Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Airport to Dehra Dun Airport. It will take around 2 hours 30 minutes to reach Uttarakhand.
