Day 1: Starting from Bangalore to Haridwar +

Bangalore to Haridwar: 2,336 km (1 day 14 hours approximately)

Your Chota Char Dham yatra starts from departing Bangalore to Haridwar. Bangaloreans can reach by bus, traveller car, train or aeroplane. Our driver will receive you from the point of arrival, Jolly Grant Airport or Haridwar Railway Station. You will be dropped at your accommodation in Haridwar, where you can rest and eat your meal.

Day 2: Drive from Haridwar to Barkot +

Haridwar to Barkot: 175.2 km (5 hour 22 min)

On the second day of your tour, we will travel to Barkot, the stopover for the first DhamーYamunotri. After your breakfast, our driver will take you to Barkot. You will be driven through the beautiful mountain ranges and pleasant weather to your stay in Barkot. Take some refreshment and rest for the following day's excursion to Yamunotri Dham, the first pilgrimage site of the yatra.

Day 3: First Dham: Barkot to Yamunotri and Returning to Barkot Again +

Barkot to Yamunotri: 45.6 km (1 hour)

With the peaceful stay at Barkot, on the third day of the morning after breakfast, we will leave for our first dham of the yatra, Yamunotri. The driver will pick you up from the hotel to the 6 km trek base, Jankichatti or Phoolchatti. After arriving at Jankichatti, either trek on foot to the location. Otherwise, hire a doli or mule/horse ride at your own expense. On arrival at Yamunotri Dham, take a bath in Jamnabai Kund as a ritual before Yamunaji darshan. Visit the Yamunotri Temple of Devi Yamuna, daughter of Surya Dev and the Surya Kund. At Surya Kund, the devotees cook raw rice or potatoes as a blessing from Lord Surya(Sun). If possible, trek to Kharsali to see Shani Temple and the winter seat of Yamunotri.
After exploring Yamunotri, trek back to Jankichatti, where our driver will be ready to pick you up and drop you at the hotel in Barkot. Savour your food and have a good night's sleep.

Day 4: Driving from Barkot to Uttarkashi +

Now we will head towards our next stopover, the revered town of Uttarkashi. Fuel up with a morning meal, be ready for the road trip, and you will leave Barkot. The driver will drop you at the hotel in Uttarkashi, where you can have your meal and explore the ancient religious sites. Also, have a sound sleep to gain energy for the next morning.

Day 5: Second Dham: Uttarkashi to Gangotri and Return Uttarkashi +

Uttarkashi to Gangotri: 97.6 km (approximately 3 hours)

We will go to the second dham, Gangotri, to witness the spiritual river Devi Ganga. Departing from Uttarkashi to the sacred Gangotri Dham, the driver will pick you up from the hotel. Be ready to experience the divine town on the banks of the gushing Bhagirathi River, the source of the River Ganga. You will be dropped off at 0.5 km from the Dham, where you will walk to the Yamunotri Temple. The wheelchair service is also available for the elderly and people with health constraints. When you reach, seek the darshan of the Ganga River and Maa Ganga Temple. If you want to seek the originating place of the Ganga, visit Gaumukh Glacier on a 17 km trek.
After a well-spent day at Gangotri, the operator will drive back to Uttarkashi. Rest in your room and prepare for the next journey.

Day 6: Next Stop: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi +

Uttarkashi to Guptkashi: 185 km (approximately 6 hours)

On the 6th day, after breakfast, the driver will drop you off at the sacred town of Guptkashi. This is the stopover for the Kedarnath yatra. You will be dropped off at the hotel in Guptkashi, where you can dine on Uttarakhandi delicacies and rest in your room. If you have some time, take a tour of the legendary town of Guptkashi. Explore the ancient temples, the market and the local culture.

Day 7: Third Dham: Guptkashi to Kedarnath +

Guptkashi to Kedarnath: 30 km+16 km trek (3 hours)

Get ready! The yatra we will head towards Kedarnath through Gaurikund. After breakfast, you will go to Sonprayag and then Gaurikund, the trek base for Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary. You can reach Gaurikund by jeep and start the 16 km moderate-level trek. If you have body constraints that don't allow you to trek, hire a doli or mule/pony ride from your pocket.
People who have opted for helicopter services will be dropped at the Guptkashi, Phata or Sirsu helipad. Our driver will drop you there, and you will directly fly to the Kedarnath Helipad.
After arriving at Kedarnath Dham, seek darshan of the Jyotirlingam and explore the dham. Seek the darshan of Kedarnath’s shivling and explore nearby places. You can rent a stay near Kedarnath Temple or a tent. Experience the divine energy and involve yourself in the devotion of Baba Kedar.

Day 8: Kedarnath to Guptkashi +

Kedarnath to Guptkashi: 30 km+16 km trek (3 hours)

After you have sought Lord Shiva’s darshan and explored Kedarnath, you must trek back to Gaurikund. The driver will be prepared to take you from Gaurikund to Guptkashi. After you reach Gaurikund, you will go to your hotel in Guptkashi. Eat your food and rest for the morning journey to the next stopover for the last pilgrimage site of Chota Char Dham YatraーBadrinath.

Day 9: Guptkashi to Joshimath +

Guptkashi to Joshimath: 154 km (4-5 hours)

On day 9 of the tour, head to the next stopover of the yatra that is Joshimath. Known for Hindu institutions and temples, Joshimath offer views of alpine meadows. Our driver will take you from Guptkashi to this holy city when you will finish your meal. He will drop you at hotel in Joshimath where you can take rest. Eat your meal, take a tour of the town and relax in your room for the next day journey.

Day 10: Joshimath to Badrinath Dham and Return to Joshimath +

Joshimath to Badrinath: 41 km (2 hours)

Get ready! As on 10th day of the tour we will leave Joshimath for our last pilgrimage to Badrinath Dham of Lord Vishnu. It is believed that Lord Vishnu as meditated here. The name this dham got from the tree of Badri-a wild berry. On this regions there are lots of Badri trees and it is said that Maa Lakshmi took form of Badri tree to give shade to Lord Vishnu who was meditating. The road to Badrinath Dham is well-connected and we will directly reach to the Dham. There is a hot water spring called Tapt Kund, you must first bath here before darshan. After bathing, you can enter the temple sanctum and worship Lord Badri. You can explore the dham and nearby a Mana village is there which is at 8 minutes distance from Badrinath Temple. You can take a round and explore the culture. After darshan and exploration, you will return back to Joshimath with our driver at your hotel.

Day 11: Joshimath to Haridwar +

Joshimath to Haridwar: 227 km (8 hours)

Our last tour to Badrinath have completed and here we end up with the Chota Char Dham Tour. Now its your time to return Bangalore, traversing back from Joshimath to Haridwar. Take any memorabilia with you as a sign of accomplishing the Chota Char Dham trip successfully. After your meal, pack your bags and leave for Haridwar with our driver. He will drop you at your accommodation in Haridwar. There you can take time for city tour, do darshan of Maa Ganga, have your meal at your hotel and sleep to go home next day.

Day 12: Returning to Bangalore +

Here we have successfully completed the tour of Chota Char Dham Yatra. Now its time for bidding goodbye to Devbhoomi and taking all your experiences you have gained from this yatra. Pack all your belongings and be ready to leave Haridwar to your home, Bangalore city. The driver will drop you at the location of departure you have chosen. You can return Bangalore by Haridwar Bus Stand, Haridwar Railway Station or Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun.
