Chandrashila trek
Chandrashila, known as the crown of the Chandranath parvat, is a trek nearest to the Char Dham route. It is 5 km away from Chopta base camp and 1.5 km from Tungnath temple and it took 6,7 hours both ways for this trek.
The famous temple of Panch Kedar (Tungnath Temple) is situated within walking distance from Chandrashila and it is visited by pilgrims during Chardham and Panch Kedar yatra. This trek offers fabulous views, especially if you reach the peak either during sunrise or at sunset.
Although the height of 4000 meters above sea level makes the climb steep. But as soon as you see the enthralling panoramic view of Himalayan peaks, it feels worth it. Its summit offers an enthusiastic view of Nanda Devi, Trishul, Kedarnath Dome, and Chaukhamba peaks.
Deoria Tal Trek
Deoria Tal is the beloved destination for hiking near Kedarnath on the Chardham route. It is a pleasant Mountain lake closer to Sari Village. Lying at an altitude of 2438 meters, this uphill trek starts from Sari at Ukhimath Chopra Road.
Deoria Tal holds great significance according to Hindu mythology. Its lake has crystal clear water and offers a reflection of Chaukhamba peaks. Additionally, it shows the interesting view of Chandrashila Peak and Tungnath on one side and Nilkantha, Bandarpunch, Kedar range and Kalanag on another side.
Valley of Flowers Trek
Valley of Flowers is another such trek you can visit on your Char Dham yatra, mainly it is closer to Badrinath in a circle of 25 km. It is spread around 87 sq km in Chamoli district. Satopanth Tal trek
Satopanth Lake trek is fascinating of course because of the scenic beauty. But it is also interesting because of its triangular shape and it is believed that on every edge of this lake tridev(Trimurtis) has done meditation.
It is located near Badrinath so it touches the line of Char Dham route. At an altitude of 4,600 meters, it is 10 km long, 5 km one way, so approximately it takes 8 hours to complete this trek.
To trek for this lake you have to go through Badrinath to Mana village. The trail through Alaknanda River, Laxmi van, Chakratirtha, and meadows via forest is the best part of the trek.
Gaumukh Tapovan Trek
Gaumukh Tapovan Trek is a rewarding Trek of the divine figure Gangotri in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. Mainly it is famous because it is considered the source of the Holy River Ganga and also the pristine meadows of Tapovan where Sages and Ascetics inhabited.
This Gaumukh trek alongside the Bhagirathi River is 18 km from Gangotri and passes through lush green forest and Chirbasa. It will take about 6 hours to reach this trek From Gangotri.

Dodital Trek
Dodital Trek is a magnificent trek closer to Yamunotri on the Char Dham Yatra route.
It is the source of the Assi Ganga, a tributary to the Bhagirathi. This exotic trek starts from Agoda village Manjhi and takes 3 or 4 hours to arrive at crystal-clean Dodital Lake.
On the left of the lake, there is Lord Ganesh temple; it is believed that Dodital Lake is the birthplace of Ganesh Bhagwan. From this Trek, we can observe the perfect views of Srikantha Peak and Deonil.
