Day 1: Setting Off From Chennai To Haridwar +

Distance: 2,517.7 Duration: 2 days approximately

Travel Acharya welcomes you to start your holy journey of Chota Char Dham Yatra from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Take a train from Perambur Railway Station to Haridwar Railway Station or board on to Madras Airport and land to Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun. The driver will come to pick you up from your arrival destination and drop you off at a hotel in Haridwar.

Day 2: Haridwar to Barkot +

Distance- 180 km Duration- 5-6 hours

We will begin the Yatra of Char Dham, departing from Haridwar to Barkot with the operator arranged by your Travel Acharya. Before leaving the hotel, have breakfast and get ready for a road journey. The driver will drive you through the scenic route with stunning vistas and hilly terrain. After arriving at Barkot, check in at your hotel, eat food and have a sound sleep for the next day.

Day 3: Barkot to Yamunotri and Return to Barkot +

Distance: 36 km+6 km(trek) Duration: 2 hours

With the peaceful stay at Barkot, on the third day of the morning after breakfast, we will leave for our first dham of the yatra, Yamunotri. The driver will pick you from the hotel to the 6 km trek base, Jankichatti or Phoolchatti. After arriving at Jankichatti, either trek on foot to the location. Otherwise, hire a doli or mule/horse ride at your own expense. On arrival at Yamunotri Dham, take a bath in Jamnabai Kund as a ritual before Yamunaji darshan. Visit the Yamunotri Temple of Devi Yamuna, daughter of Surya Dev and the Surya Kund. At Surya Kund, the devotees cook raw rice or potato as a blessing from Lord Surya(Sun). If possible, trek to Kharsali to see Shani Temple and winter seat of Yamunotri.
After exploring Yamunotri, trek back to Jankichatti where our driver will be ready to pick you up. He will drop you at the hotel in Barkot. Savour your food and have a good night's sleep.

Day 4: Barkot to Uttarkashi +

Distance- 120 km Duration- 3-4 hours

Now we will head towards our next stopover to the revered town of Uttarkashi. Be ready for the road trip and after breakfast, you will leave Barkot. The driver will drop you at the hotel in Uttarkashi, and take your time to explore the temples and take some snooze.

Day 5: Uttarkashi to Gangotri and Return Uttarkashi Again +

Distance- 100 km Duration- 3-4 hours

We will go to the second dham, Gangotri, to witness the spiritual river Devi Ganga. Departing from Uttarkashi to the sacred Gangotri Dham, the driver will pick you from the hotel. Be ready to experience the divine town on the banks of shimmering Bhagirathi River, source of River Ganga. When you reach the town, first seek darshan of Ganga River and Maa Ganga Temple. If you want to seek the originating place of Ganga, visit Gaumukh Glacier at 17 km trek distance. After a well spent day at Gangotri, the operator will drive back to Uttarkashi. Rest in your room and prepare for the next journey.

Day 6: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi +

Distance- 199.2 km Duration- 8 hours

On the 6th day, the driver will take you to the next stop station, the sacred town Guptkashi. The driver will fetch you from the hotel after the morning meal. The route offers lofty peaks and serene changing frames. You will go to the hotel for check-in to your room and rest for the day. Enjoy your food and be ready for the third Dham visit.

Day 7: Guptkashi to Kedarnath +

Distance- 30 km+16 km(trek) Duration- 3 hours

On the 7th day of the yatra we will head towards Kedarnath through Gaurikund. The driver will accelerate to the revered meditation place of Gaurikund where devotees worship the sacred water of the kund. Reach there to begin the 16 km moderate-level trek. If you have body constraints which don't allow you to trek, hire a doli or mule/pony ride from your pocket. After arriving at Kedarnath Dham, lost in the bliss of Shiv Nagri. Seek the darshan of Kedarnath’s shivling and explore nearby places. You can rent a stay near Kedarnath Temple or a tent. Be amazed to experience the presence of divine energies here.
People who have opted for helicopter services must report to Guptkashi helipad. Our driver will drop you there and you will directly fly towards Lord Shiva.

Day 8: Kedarnath to Guptkashi +

Distance- 30 km+16 km(trek) Duration- 3 hours

With the blissful morning of Lord Shiva darshan and aarti in Kedarnath Dham, you have to trek back to Gaurikund. The driver will be prepared to take you from Gaurikund to Guptkashi. After you reach Gaurikund, you will go to your hotel in Guptkashi. Take some meals and have a rest for the morning journey.
People who arrive by helicopter must report to the helipad in Kedarnath. When your helicopter reaches the Guptkashi helipad, say goodbye and return to your hotel.

Day 9: Guptkashi to Joshimath +

Distance- 154 km Duration- 4-5 hours

On day 9 of the tour, you will be taken from Guptkashi to Joshimath. The next stopover, Joshimath is your next stop of Char Dham Yatra. After breakfast you will be picked up by the driver to the Joshimath accommodation. Enjoy your time exploring this holy city and check-in to your hotel in Joshimath for overnight.

Day 10: Joshimath to Badrinath Dham and then back to Joshimath +

Distance- 41 km Duration- 2 hours

On the 10th day in the morning, we will visit the Badrinath Dham. Grabbing your meal in the morning we will leave Joshimath. When you reach Tapt Kund, take a holy bath and visit Badrinath temple. Enjoy your divine time in the temple. See the nearby attractions and ancient temples. You will drop back to the hotel in Joshimath, eat your meal and sleep.

Day 11: Joshimath to Haridwar +

Distance- 227 km Duration- 8 hours

Heading towards the end of Chota Char Dham Yatra, we will depart from Joshimath to Haridwar, after your meal. Be ready with your things as the driver will drop you through the scenic route to Haridwar. You will be taken to your hotel in Haridwar for an overnight stay.

Day 12: Back to Chennai Again +

At the home stretch of Chota Char Dham Tour, you will be driven off to Airport or Railway(the choice of return). The driver will take you to the place of departure either Jolly Grant Airport or Haridwar Railway Station. Bid a bye to Haridwar taking the eternal bliss and memories to Chennai.
