It is said that the temple is built at a particular spot where the idol of Goddess Durga was found by a shepherd, after being directed by Goddess herself in his dream.       • Chaubatia Orchard – Situated at an elevation of 1,800 meters from sea level, Chaubattia Orchard is just 10 kms away from Sitlakhet. As its name says ‘Chau’ means four and ‘batia’ means path, it is the inter-linking point of four cities that are Sitlakhet, Bhargaon, Pilkholi, and Dehrti. Chaubatia is well known for its vast gardens of delicious and juicy plums, apricots, peaches, and apples. Tourists are recommended to visit this place and try their fresh and organic orchard fruits. 
      • Syahi Devi Temple – The temple situated at a distance of around 3 kms from Sitlakhet is one of the top attractions when visiting Sitlakhet. This temple is dedicated to Maa Syahi Devi and according to the local people, Goddess protects this place from all the negative energies.
