Kempty fall
Located at 17 km distance from the centre of Mussoorie, this Kempty Fall is among the star attractions. Basically, it is a waterfall at a great height, which creates a perfect spot for tourism. Its actual location is in Ram Gaon and you can reach there by driving from Mussoorie for about 50 minutes. To make this waterfall a more attractive spot, there are cafes, coffee shops, gifts and handicraft shops and most importantly, the ropeway espresso. Generally, you have to pay Rs. 200 to 250 per individual for riding in this ropeway trolley. Whoever comes here, loves this place and wants to spend as much time as possible.

Kashi Vishwanath
In the route of Gangotri, this temple known as Kashi Vishwanath is placed in the Uttarkashi town. You have to step on the right side of Uttarkashi-Gangotri Road to reach the temple. The temple is located near the District Court, and there are some other temples around, like Shakti Temple, Hanuman Temple, Pracheen Gopeshwar Temple and Krittiwasheshwar Temple. This Vishwanath temple is built in a large area and it looks huge and elegant. Most people visit all of these temples because they are located within walking distance.

Ardhnarishwar Temple
Ardhnarishwar Temple is a religious attraction on the route of Kedarnath Dham. When you reach Guptkashi, then, you have to move towards Guptkashi town by leaving Kedarnath Road. After a few minutes of walking on the inter-college road, you will reach the Ardhnarishwar temple. This temple of Lord Mahadev and Goddess Gaura is spread over enough area, and there is a Kund in front of the temple. People sprinkle water to purify themselves and then go inside the temple for Darshan. You would see the mountains behind the temple and so the pictures look perfect outside the temple complex.

Narsingh temple
In Guptkashi, Narsingh temple is located at a 10 km distance from the Ardhnarishwar temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Narsingh, who is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu in the time period of Hiranyakashyap. There are several ropes tied around the temple, and you will see small pieces of red, white and yellow clothes on these ropes. The temple architecture is influenced by Nagara as well as the modern style of temple architecture. Here you can visit while going towards Kedarnath Dham. Usually, drivers take a break in Guptkashi, so you should utilise that time to visit this site.

Mana Gaon
Nestled beside the confluence of River Alaknanda and Saraswati, this Mana Gaon is an 18 km distance from the Badrinath Dham. So people come here while visiting Badrinath Dham. This village has several special reasons to be unique. Firstly, it’s the first village in the Country, and secondly, there are some significant religious points like Sri Ganesh Gufa, The cave of Veda Vyas and Tripura Bala Sundari Mandir. Some of the tourists come here to visit these religious sites, and some to look at the first village vibes.
Overall the village looks beautiful, and you must come here to experience its uniqueness in real.

Panch Prayag
Panch Prayag indicates the popular circuit of river confluences in Uttarakhand. In total, there are 5 confluences included in this circuit, and all are regarded as holy and pilgrimage sites in Hinduism. In all the confluences, the Alaknanda River is common, which meets with another river. For instance, In Devprayag, the Bhagirathi river joins with Alaknanda. While in Rudraprayag, it’s about the Mandakini River and Alaknanda. The other 3 confluences, famous as Karnaprayag, Nandprayag and Vishnuprayag, are about the Pindar, Nandakini and Dhauliganga rivers. Due to its religious linkage and visually awesome views, people like to see all 5 sites.

Destination Details

Haridwar : As Haridwar is the first spot where you’ll spend time, you must know a bit about its exploring scope. Haridwar is a city located on the plains of Uttarakhand, so it’s not as cold as other destinations of your Yatra. After checking in at your hotel, you can walk out to look at the serene evening of Haridwar. The spiritual activities that are a must to indulge in the land of god, Haridwar are Ganga Snan in Har ki Pauri, and witnessing Ganga Sandhya Arti.

Gangotri:- Gangotri is one of the Uttarakhand Char Dhams and has special significance in the Hindu community. Gangotri is the origin of the holy river Bhagirathi which later came to be known as Ganga Ji. Devotees believe that taking a holy dip in Gangotri will get rid of all the sins done by one. The importance of the Bhagirathi River and Gangotri Dham can be felt by the crowd of pilgrims. When you visit here, you must take a bath and get the Darshana of Gaumukh. Besides that, you should also perform the pooja and offer your prayers at the Ghat of Bhagirathi River. Usually, devotees offer flowers and flame to the Goddess Ganga.

Yamunotri:- Yamunotri is the first destination of your Char Dham Yatra. Similar to Gangotri, it’s also a temple, representing the origin of Yamuna river. Yamunotri refers to the origin of Maa Yamuna. In Hinduism, after Ganga ji, Yamuna ji is the second most holy river popular in North India. Hence, people have faith in visiting this religious site and offer their prayers.

Barkot :- Barkot is the base camp for Yamunotri Dham. Whoever comes to visit Yamunotri, come here first. Barkot is a small serene town representing the natural beauty of Uttarakhand at its best. The weather and atmosphere both are exactly as travellers want to relish.

Uttarkashi :- Uttarkashi is the base camp for Gangotri Dham. As the name reveals, it has some past linkage with the Kashi the teerth in Uttar Pradesh. Uttarkashi is mainly known for its renowned Vishwanath temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and attracts the devotees who visit the town. When you are on your way to Gangotri and stay here then take out some time to get Darshan of Lord Mahadeva.

Guptkashi :- Guptkashi is another typical Uttarakhand town. It is the base camp for Kedarnath Dham. The devotees often take a night stay break here before moving towards Kedarnath Dham. Guptkashi has some beautiful temples like Vishwanath Temple, Ardhnarishwar Temple, and Triyuginarayan Temple. These temples hold special spiritual significance. So if you are in Guptkashi, you must visit these religious abodes.

Kedarnath: Kedarnath Dham is one of the most popular religious sites across the country. People from remote corners come here to get the auspicious darshan of Shivling of Lord Shiva. Along with one of the Chhota Char dhams of Uttarakhand, Kedarnath is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. That’s why this site is considered highly spiritual. Despite the tough terrain, devotees trek to the temple with deep belief in their hearts.

Joshimath :- Joshimath is the place before Badrinath Dham. People who visit Badrinath, stay here. According to the sources, Joshimath was established by Adi Shankaracharya. And so it’s one of the important cardinal points. If you have idle time, then visit the Shankaracharya Math and Narsingh temple. Both of these sites will delight you with unique spiritual vibes.

Badrinath :- Badrinath, one of the Char Dhams in Hinduism, is the important pilgrimage site. It is the temple of Lord Vishnu and Mahalaxmi. Among the Chhota char dhams, it is the most important Dham. That’s why, some people who are not physically fit visit all 4 sites of Char Dham, they come to Badrinath only. The temple is located in the beautiful terrain of mountains. All the destinations of the Char Dham Tour are located in the high altitude of Uttarakhand. That’s why, there are certain more physical challenges compared to plains. Considering that, as your tour guide, we are sharing some do’s and don’ts for maintaining health and safety while on the Yatra.

Wear multiple layers of woollen clothes to save yourself from biting cold.
Cover your palms, soles, and ears properly with gloves, socks and a woollen cap.
Do not overeat or undereat. Eat food in a balanced manner, so that you don’t have to feel lazy and weak.
If you have motion sickness, consult your doctor before going on tour and bring pills for that.
Do not consume any intoxicated drinks during the tour.
As you are going on a religious trip, so do not consume non-veg meals.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Haridwar To Barkot

Distance: 193 km
Time Taken: 5-6 hours

On the first day, our driver will receive you delightly from Haridwar Railway Station or Bus Stand. Thereafter, he will drive safely to make you reach Barkot. As soon as you reach Barkot, please first check into the hotel room and take a warm and very-needed rest. We will have planned a night's stay in the same hotel, so you can explore and relax there pleasingly until the next morning

Day 2: Barkot to Yamunotri and return

Distance to Yamunotri Dham Gateway: 46 km
Time Taken: 2 hours

The 2nd day of this journey will bring you the excitement of having darshans in the Yamunotri Dham. After your first meal of the day, you'll have to check out from the hotel room and be prepared for further adventures.
Our driver will drive you to reach the trek’s starting point, Jankichatti or Phool Chatti. From there onwards, you will begin with your trekking to visit the holy dham.

However, in case you face some physical challenges, then you can avail yourself of the Palki or Horse services. After a few hours of trekking, upon reaching there, it's recommended to take a holy bath in the Jamnabai Kund, as this religious ritual goes.
Thereafter you will have to proceed to the main temple along with your trip mates.
We will fetch you with sufficient time to have darshans without any rush.

After you're done with the temple visit, trek back to Jankichatti, our driver will receive you there and then take you back to Barkot.
After reaching Barkot, complete check-in at your hotel room and spend some leisure time.
At the end of this fulfilling day, end your day with a flavorful meal and then have a restful night as we have Scheduled your second night here as well.

Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi

Distance: 82 Km km
Time taken: 3-4 hours

On day 3rd, after enjoying breakfast, you'll have to move towards the Uttarkashi with our driver. Uttarkashi is an intermediate destination for Gangotri Dham. So, after 3-4 hours of driving, you will arrive there. On arrival, check into your hotel which will be your accommodation for the night, and where you can relax.

Day 4: Uttarkashi to Gangotri and Return

Distance to Gangotri: 99 km
Time taken in overall traveling: 3-4 hours

On the day 4th, after having your delicious breakfast, our driver will begin driving to Gangotri Dham. Along the way, you'll witness and admire the beautiful Harshil Valley.

At the pious Dham of Gangotri, we recommend you take a dive into the holy water of river Bhagirathi and relish your chance of getting Darshans of the birthplace of the above-mentioned river.

Whenever you are ready to return, the driver will pick you up and give you a ride back to the town of Uttarkashi. Before night, it will be his responsibility to safely drop you at the hotel.

Day 5: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi

Distance: 200 km
Time taken: 6-7 hours

On the day 5th of this pilgrimage, you will be moving forward to the Kedarnath shrine. So, we request you to be ready to leave for Guptkashi after enjoying your morning meal.

Our driver will make sure that you reach Guptkashi on or before time, which serves as a camp destination for Kedarnath Dham.

As soon as you reach Guptkashi, please check in at your hotel. There you can enjoy some self-time, as we will have this hotel booked for the whole night.

Highlight:
In the midway, you'll have the opportunity to view the Mandakini River roaring near Tilwara. Here you can enjoy an uncommonly pleasant view of the Mandakini river.

Day 6: Guptkashi to Kedarnath

By Helicopter:
If you wanna fly to Kedarnath temple, then our driver will drop you at your pre-booked helipad in the morning. When you come after getting Darshan, go to the Hotel directly. There you can relax there and stay nearby Kedarnath Dham.

By Trek:
If you want to trek to the temple then our driver will drop you at the midway spot Sonprayag. From Sonprayag, you'll have to hire a local jeep for the next spot, Gaurikund. From Gaurikund, the trek starts for Kedarnath Dham. After many hours of trekking, you will reach the temple. After Darshan, you should reach the location of the lodge in Kedarnath. Here you'll stay in the night.

Day 7: Kedarnath to Guptkashi

After your Darshans in the Kedarnath Dham, please manage your journey back to Sonprayag. And there our driver will pick you up and take you back to the hotel in Guptkashi.

On reaching there, kindly register yourself in the hotel then enjoy your dinner and rest comfortably overnight.

Due to parking issues, and poor network, if you are unable to contact the driver, please arrange an alternative drive through some other jeep services.

Day 8: Guptkashi to Joshimath

Distance: 161 km
Time taken: 4-5 hours

On this day, you will grab your delightful breakfast, and then the driver will take you to Joshimath town, which offers the starting point for the Badrinath Yatra. On your way back, you will witness Pipalkoti. Once you reach there, please make yourself comfortable in your lodge where you will be provided with a night meal and spend your night pleasantly.

Day 9: Joshimath to Badrinath and return

Distance to Badrinath: 40 km
Time taken: 1 hour 25 minutes

On the exciting morning of Day 9th, after enjoying your breakfast, please be prepared for the darshans in Badrinath Dham. Our driver will ensure your on-time arrival at Badrinath Dham. Upon reaching there, kindly have a bath in Tapt Kund, and get the auspicious darshans of Badrivishal ji.

After performing all the rituals and worship, return to Joshimath with our driver. After your dinner, you can relax overnight at the hotel.

Day 10: Joshimath to Haridwar

Distance: 268 km
Time taken: 7-8 hours

On the last morning, after breakfast, please get ready for our return to Haridwar. Because this will be the concluding day of this yatra to Chota Char Dham. Our driver will drop you at Haridwar crossing Rudraprayag and Devprayag on its way.
